Why did God Almighty send prophets and messengers?

To call people to believe in His Oneness - the Almighty - and to abandon what they associate with Him, and to call them to do righteous deeds.

The main goal was to bring people out of darkness into light, and from the worship of servants to the worship of the Lord of servants. This was the concern of all the prophets and messengers - peace be upon them.
