I have a thought for you guys, I am atheist, but have been trying to figure this out: if the universe is infinitely old and has always existed, then it could never be the present because it would take an infinite amount of time to reach right now. So in that case the universe has to have a beginning date, which in turn would mean the universe was created by something or someone.
But at the same time, I have never heard any argument for any religion that isnโt full of holes
Because the same goes for any god, a god couldnโt exist for an infinite amount of time, so a god would have to have been created
