I have honestly never been a fan of charmandee and charizard it always been squirtle and blastoise

He has been my favorite for a while because it evolution. I have always felt like looks like one of our Hawaiian myths

And then when they came out the Hawaiian version of the game, his evolution now is the myth

So he is based of the night marchers from Hawaii that are dead warriors that hunt the lands still in souls from living people they come across
