I used to work at that mall. There was an Amy’s Ice Cream shop there back in the late 80’s.

I spent a lot of time on 6th street when I wasn’t working. A lot of my coworkers were in bands and they would hook me up for the roadshows because I always went to their shows.

I went to the ACL music festival one year. I was walking with a friend to get some food and I saw Leslie. I told my friend to look. She asked why I did that and I said that if we had got back to the hotel and I asked if she had noticed the person with the bikini and the banana hammock and she hadn’t, she would have been mad. She said, “true dat.”
I never actually spoke to him, but I heard he was super sweet, and he loved music festivals
First time I saw him it was the Republic of Texas bike rally
